Again 2 weeks past
The last two weeks have flown by faster than I've noticed it myself, I could have sworn it was last Monday to the first time that I have written here the last time.
The last two weeks passed by so very quickly, too quickly for myself because I was definitely sure to have posted here only one week ago.
Most of the time the rain was so, but when the sun then it was time, we have beautiful walks in the Bavarian Forest made. Here we were near Ringelai, even the name sounds so nice. There were boardwalks and suspension bridges, wet dark rock openings, giant moss-covered stones that I may so much and the roadsides were lined with pitch Waldgeißbart and cloves.
Most of the time it rained, was windy or cold, but when then suddenly the sun appeared for a day or just some hours, we had lovely walks in the Bavarian Forest. Some drive an hour away from our home, some just a few minutes, we walked across hanging bridges, tunnels through dark and wet, had large mossy stones along our ways which i love so much, and masses of wild flowers, too.
Here in the woods I found large pockets of lily of the valley and could not resist, of course I carry a small bouquet. I have so far not known that they also grow in the forest and all the better was the discovery.
In our own forests here lately I just found big nests of lily of the valleys, I have never known that they are growing in the middle of woods, too. And of course I could not resist taking some of home with me.
And in the hope of a speedy jack free time I have for my future walks, finally, the bag from the Cath Kidston book "Sew" sewn. Mine is, however, lined with small inside pocket and take longer to cross handles them can (or how to do that properly marked, but you get so certain as to what do I mean). As I get then all the things I hope to, that I stuff otherwise my pockets, like the famous black plastic bag, treats, Speed, and sweets for me and for Anni, camera, and all that Krusch without whom I do not even 5 steps outside the house can make. Oh yes, of course, key Do not forget!
evening crochet diligently, still the old ceiling, but soon they will be ready. And a bit is read, beautiful old children's books in which I revel. So beautiful and so familiar. And while I've probably used before a full week to read it, I can do it now in one evening.
I wish you a wonderful holiday and a wonderful weekend, may be seen that, either once the sun!
PS: Some of you blog, I can currently not comment. I have no idea why this is so, and whether it is just me, especially since I've seen, so that others apparently had no problems. Therefore like ich mich für meine 'Abwesenheit' erst mal entschuldigen, ich probier es später dann nochmal.
When I walk Anni I always need to carry a lot of useful and maybe also useless things with me, and until now I could store them so nicely in my cardigan pockets. But now I am in great hope of no-cardigan-needed-anymore-weather and therefore I finally managed to sew the bag which was included in the book "Sew!" of Cath Kidston. I made a lining, too, and also an internal pocket, and instead of the relativly short shoulder strap I have made a large one to carry the bag cross over. Now it is full of paper tissues, little plastic bags, some sweets for me and for Anni, there is room enough for a camera at some days, too, and not to forget the key. It´s a pretty little bag and I hope to be able to use it a lot.
At the evenings I still love to crochet at my old blanket, hopefully it will be finished soon. Doesn´t look bad so far. So, crochet from 8 to 10pm, and then an hour or two with delightful reading. Old children books. Oh my, so very lovely, so cosy and comfortably and where I once needed a whole week to finish a small book I could do this now in only one evening.
Have a cosy and comfortably weekend, too, with hopefully more sun as we see here.
PS: I also visited some of your blogs and it seems that I am not able to comment. No idea why this is the case because I saw, that there are already some comments. So please take my excuse for this, I hope I could comment later again.
