Today I don´t really know how to start because I am still simply overwhelmed by all the beautiful pictures I found lately on Flickr. Usually I am a completely wreck when it comes to technical things, I am not very talented in this and sites like Ravelry or Flickr still contain hundreds of secrets to me. But yesterday I have discovered that you could make your own site for your favorits, join groups and even leave comments. Erection When Being Waxed

thoughts on the evening

Meine Lieblingsrose blüht

My blog break was unfortunately longer than intended. First my computer was broken (and really great he still does not work, it will shut itself off like he always feels like degree, preferably when I write grad), then I could just read it for 2 hours, a few blogs and then everything was completely gone. Our provider had major problems this time and we were a couple of days with no phone and no access from the Internet. And as is always the case, hardly anything is missing you already need it urgently. Degree now I'd much a recipe for spare ribs used, would gladly googled if I find a care instructions for a gift of gingko trees, and of course I also want to see what in the blog world and on Ravelry is going on. And somehow I felt a bit directly from the world cut off.

Unfortunately my blog break was far longer than intended. At first my computer was broken (and it still is in some way, it switches off as it likes, preferably when I am writing), then I used it for 2 hours to be disconnected again for several days, this time our provider here had big problems and couldn´t fix them quickly. And as it is so often happening to me when I don´t have an item - I immediately need it urgently. To find a good recipe for a barbeque, to google a care instruction for a given little gingko tree, and of course I wanted to visit blogs and Ravelry. Somehow I felt a bit isolated from the world.

Also gab´s am Wochenende leicht angekohlte Spareribs ohne Rezept, dafür aber mitessende Personen mit viel Humor. Und wie ich abends dann so gemütlich dasitze, with one eye looking onto football and the other on my crochet, as it occurs to me that probably do now, almost all of you exactly the same. Not necessarily watching football, but sitting in the living room, family around him, everyone is happy and satisfied, maybe something nice to drink and nibble and make nice with one hand on the large sofa or in a comfortable chair. The idea itself is actually not new, but I've never really thought about it. That so many of us may have the same habits that have the same rhythm. This has overwhelmed me suddenly perfect, for there it was again the relationship and I I felt very comfortable with it.
The ceiling is up now finally ready to become and I like it very much. I started it 10 years ago and it was supposed to be a cushion cover, heaven knows why I have never been done. The colors remind me of the colors of my childhood, this very specific, especially blue (like the furniture in my children's time and even in our kitchen), and somehow the gay love stories of Noisy Village. Although they were certainly not a blue kitchen, I certainly can not remember this passage in the book, but red and blue with white, yellow and green are always a nice combination and would have fit well there. (And I wish from my heart that would have written Lucy even then the brilliant pattern for Granny Stripes , then my side boundary would have become a little smoother and more evenly!)
And tomorrow I seek to determine all the instructions for a small gingko trees .

Therefore at the weekend I made nearly black burned without ribs recipe and good humored eaters at my side. And when I, some hours later, sat in my big chair, one eye at the football on TV, one at my crochet, it occurred to me that maybe a lot of you are doing exactly the same at the moment. Maybe not the football, but sitting in your living room with your family, something nice to drink and some sweets, a comfortably chair or the big sofa, and finally the most important thing - your knitting or your crochet. This fantasy is surely not new but I never before really pondered that maybe a lot of us are sharing the same habit, the same rhythm of finishing a day and the same preferences. And here it was again, even without the internet, my connection with so many crafters around the world and this made me more than glad. It warmed my heart.
The blanket above is finally finished now and I like it a lot. It once started to become a seat cushion cover 10 years ago and I loved especially the colours I have choosen for it. I can´t remember why I never finished the seat cover, my life and my decisions seem sometimes be a mystery for myself, too. I love the blue in it, it´s that certain blue that reminds me a lot of the colours in my childhood (the furniture in my children room was blue and so was our kitchen) and somehow also on the lovely books of Bullerby. Surely they had no blue kitchen, but blue and red with white, yellow and green is always such a lovely mixture and Bullerby was a book I loved a lot as a child (and still do). And I so much wish
Lucy would have written her great tutorial for Granny Stripes already 10 years ago, my side edges would have looked much neater then.
And tomorrow I really have to google for the instruction to care for a little gingko tree.
